Focus of cooperation: Risk & Insurance

The Georgia State University was founded in 1913. In contrast to many other American universities, the GSU is located in the heart of Atlanta - not on a seperate campus outside the city center. Many sports and arts programs are offered at GSU and it is known as an international university with more than 30,000 students from all over the world.

The exchange program between the LMU and the GSU was created on the initiative of Prof. Andreas Richter and Stephanie Müller. German exchange students will study in the recognized Risk Management and Insurance Program (RMI Program) at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. "I believe in this city and in this College's potential to be the finest business school in the nation." In consideration of GSU's top ranking positions, J. Mack Robinson's dream became almost true.
The Department of Risk Management and Insurance focuses not exclusivley on insurance markets but on all markets where risk is traded. Hence, the course offer is very broad and reaches from "Enterprise Risk Management" to "Contract Risk Analysis".

The semester starts in August and ends in December. Applications have to be submitted one year in advance.
