New Professorship in Behavioral Risk Management and Insurance at LMU – Research Associate Position Available

We are happy to announce that a new professorship for "Behavioral Risk Management and Insurance" will be established at the LMU Munich School of Management starting April 1, 2021 and will be held by Prof. Dr. Johannes Jaspersen. The focus of the professorship is on the behavioral analysis of decisions under risk and uncertainty in general and on insurance markets in particular.

Johannes completed his PhD at our institute from 2010 to 2014 followed by a position as assistant professor for Behavioral Decision Making and Insurance at LMU. Since April 2020, he holds a professorship for Insurance and Health Care Management at Leibniz Universität Hannover. His research focuses on theoretical and experimental analysis of issues in behavioral risk theory, health economics, and the economics of terrorism. Since 2016, Johannes has supported the activities of the MRIC as a member of the Executive Board.

The MRIC team congratulates Johannes on his new professorship at the LMU Munich School of Management.
